How do I integrate Client Genie with GoHighLevel (GHL)? *2026 UPDATE
You can integrate Client Genie with GoHighLevel (GHL) so that any group members you approve using Client Genie will have their information automatically sent to an GoHighLevel list of your choice.
2026 UPDATE: There are now two versions of the GHL integration. GHL 1.0 (older) and GHL 2.0. We recommend using GHL 2.0, but GHL 1.0 is still supported at the time of updating this article.
GoHighLevel v2.0 Integration Guide:
Note 1: GoHighLevel v2.0 will sync tags from Client Genie to GHL.
Note 2: As per the integration video, the following scopes are required via Settings > Private Integrations:
- View Contacts - contacts.readonly
- Edit Contacts - contacts.write
- View Locations - locations.readonly
- View Tags - locations/tags.readonly
- Edit Tags - locations/tags.write
- View Workflows - workflows.readonly
Note 3: Contacts are automatically tagged: cg-approved (allowing you to begin automations/workflows with this tag).

Note 1: If no email address is detected, then Client Genie will not send the group member information to your configured integration.
Note 2: If you would like to send more information besides group member name and email address, you would be required to use the Google Sheet integration instead.
